Ka’Lynn Youngblood
is a mixed media artist and herbalist who feeds off her surroundings. With art referencing various African diasporas, Youngblood uses photography, digital collage, and poetry to inform. Her focus is on the positivity still left in the rapidly gentrifying Crenshaw community. Her pieces challenge the normalities of ‘black life’ by exploring the intergalactic aspects of the world. Youngblood is a self taught artist who is continuously developing new ideas and evolving.
